Hanwoo beef tartare (Yukhoe)

Recipe Ingredients
  • basic ingredients 200g of hanwoo beef for tartare (Eye of round)  Pear (a small amount)  Edible flowers 
  • Tartare seasoning ingredients 0.5T minced garlic  0.5t sugar  0.5t seasoned salt 

Cook Order

  • 1.  Thinly slice the hanwoo beef for tartare and gently blot it with a paper towel to absorb any remaining blood.
  • 2.  Dice the pear into small cubes, soak it in sugar water, then drain and pat dry.
  • 3.  Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a bowl to make the tartare sauce.
  • 4.  Place the sliced beef from step 1 to a bowl, add half of the tartare sauce, and mix thoroughly.
  • 5.  Using a spoon, shape the seasoned tartare and place it neatly on a plate.
  • 6.  Add the cubed pear on top, then finish with the remaining tartare sauce, a sprinkle of chopped green onion, and a garnish of edible flowers.
